Area Agency on Aging District 7, (AAA7) Inc. provides services available directly or through providers. Services include (but are not limited to): Aging and Disability Resource Network (provides information and resources in the community), Ombudsman Services, Adult Day Services, Benefit Counseling (Medicare Part D enrollment assistance), Home Delivered Meals, Home Repairs, Emergency Response System, Screening Nursing Home placements, Congregate Meals, Long Term Care Consultation, Free In-Home Assessments (SHIP) and Outreach/education.
The Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. (AAA7) consists of the following ten counties: Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto, and Vinton.

Area Agency on Aging 7, administers the Long Term Care Ombudsman. This program provides a voice for residents of nursing homes, residential care facilities, and adult care homes as well as recipients of “in-home” services. The primary role of the Ombudsman Program is to investigate and resolve complaints concerning long-term care facilities and home and community-based care providers in an effort to improve the quality of life and care for long-term care consumers.
