APA Administrative Coordinator
The Association for Professionals in Aging is dedicated to increasing the ability of professionals from a broad range of disciplines to better meet the needs of older adults in the Tri-State area. Activities involve information exchanges and education events, networking and peer recognition, issue awareness and advocacy, and encouraging careers in aging. The Education Roundtable Committee plans and promotes educational forums as well as securing the CEUs. An After Work Social Hour is held to offer networking opportunities to members. Student opportunities are available to those interested in pursuing a career in aging. The Advocacy committee works to provide members information on legislative and policy issues in aging and works to plan annual advocacy events.
