-Homebound delivery service to individuals, and lobby stop service which takes collections of materials to Senior living complexes. -Loans Sony e-readers, loaded to the patron's preference, to homebound and lobby stop patrons, and has an iPad learning lab and lending program -Older Adult Specialist Librarian plans between 3 and 6 open programs or series of programs every quarter that are offered at various branches throughout the library’s system. Topics include Medicare, health, finances and retirement. -Has collaborated with the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice of Dayton, Medicare, and several retirement communities to provide programs on the above subjects in the branches, and to provide computer and tablet trainings at the facilities. -Overdrive, Hoopla, Zinio, and other electronic resources that are available to patrons. Training is available, both as a class or an in home session for homebound patrons-, and support is available in our office or on site as needed. Devices are checked out to the patron, and modified to meet their needs.
