Call: 419-947-9111 ask for the Adult Protective Services Caseworker or if unavailable, request to speak to the worker of the day (during agency hours)

Agency Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am– 5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am– 4:30 pm

Information that is helpful to have in order to make a referral but not required: Name of person, Age, Address and phone number, List of any and all family members, caregivers or other involved parties, Name of perpetrator if applicable, Nature and extent of the suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation and any other information that supports on belief that assistance is needed. Callers can make anonymous referrals

Ohioans can now report suspected elder abuse, neglect or exploitation using Ohio’s new online form at https://aps.jfs.ohio.gov/   Mandated reporters are encouraged to use the form in non-emergency situations to help keep the statewide referral line open.

County Departments of Job and Family Services are mandated to investigate and evaluate all reports of suspected abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults age 60 and over.
