***Suspected child or elder abuse can still be reported at 567.376.3777 during normal business hours (Monday – Friday 7 am to 4:30 pm) or to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office after hours who will contact a 24/7 on-call caseworker.

Ohioans can now report suspected elder abuse, neglect or exploitation using Ohio’s new online form at https://aps.jfs.ohio.gov/   Mandated reporters are encouraged to use the form in non-emergency situations to help keep the statewide referral line open.

County Departments of Job and Family Services are mandated to investigate and evaluate all reports of suspected abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults age 60 and over.
