Agency services include but not limited to
Rapid Rehousing (program provides intervention to help individuals that are experiencing homelessness quickly move out of shelter or off the streets as soon as possible.) Services can include:
Rent Arrears
Housing Location Assistance
Deposit/First Month Rent
Utility Assistance
Determinations are made based on income, level of need and barriers being faced by the household.
Elderly Home Repair Program
Program is designed to assist homeowners over the age of 60 years old in the five-county area of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding and Williams whose income falls within 50% of the County Median Income Guidelines. Safety and minor repairs are addressed to help the applicant to continue to live independently and comfortably in their homes. Applications are taken at area senior centers or through NOCAC’s community services offices.
Services may include:
Minor modifications such as grab bars, handheld shower installation and handicap toilets
Installation of additional lighting in stairwells, installing handrails and performing ramp repairs
Modifications to bathrooms or kitchen faucets
Repair or replace heating units or water heater tanks
Roof repairs
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The office is closed on weekends and holidays.
