The Ohio State University Couple and Family Therapy Clinic is providing the following 5 resources during the month of July free of charge in addition to our ongoing therapy services. At this time, all services will be offered via telehealth.

1. Brief Solution Focused Single Sessions
These brief solution-focused sessions allow clients to get a professional perspective on their current situation and to collaborate on the next steps toward the desired outcome. The sessions last 45-90 minutes depending on the situation presented. Participants are welcome to sign up for additional sessions as long as space permits. This service is available for individual adults, couples, or parents wanting to discuss their minor children.
These sessions are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. OSU will be offering 30-50 of these appointments a week during the month of July.

2. LGBTIP2SQAPK Support Group for Individuals and Partners
This group will meet Wednesday evenings at 5:30-7 starting July 1st. The purpose of this group is to help members of the community come together in a supportive and affirming environment, to share common experiences, and to increase our understanding of gender identity, sexual identity, and relationships with others. All diverse identities and expressions within the LGBTQ+ spectrum, including those questioning, are welcome! This group is being led by a queer-identifying therapist.

3. LGBTQ+ Parent Support Group
This gathering is for parents, guardians, and loved ones of LGBTQ+ children, adolescents, and adults to come together for community and support in a safe and accepting environment. Facilitated by a licensed family therapist and fellow parent of LGBTQ+ youth.

4. End of Marriage Support Group for Women (4 Weeks)
This group is for women seeking support in navigating the process of ending a marriage. This group will meet for 4-weeks on Tuesdays at 12 pm – 1:30 pm beginning July 7th.

5. Premarital Group (5 Weeks)
As couples prepare to step into this commitment together, premarital groups can be a fun and engaging way to prepare for a journey that will lead to individual growth as well as growth together as a couple. These groups will meet weekly for five weeks, for two hours. Each couple will be encouraged to explore their strengths and discuss common pre-marital topics in a light-hearted environment.
